01 — The market
Canada is a country of small businesses. It has 1.10 million employer businesses, and 98.2% of them are small businesses with 1 to 99 employees. Ontario is home to 418,322 of them, the most of any province.
Canadian shoppers live next door to the biggest online market in the world, and they compare you with it. 86% of Canadian internet users made an online purchase in the past year, and retail e-commerce made up 6.8% of total retail trade in May 2026. Prices in Canadian dollars, Canadian shipping times and a clear returns policy are part of the pitch, not the small print.
Search results here mix Canadian and American pages, so your competition for a broad term may be a US company that can't serve your customer. Canadian internet advertising revenue reached $18.2 billion (CAD) in 2024, up 14.3%. Pages that name your province, your city and the way you deliver help Google, and your customer, tell the difference.
AI is now part of how people look things up. 33% of Canadian internet users used generative AI tools in the past year, up from 16% in 2024, while 12.2% of Canadian businesses reported using AI. Being a source those tools quote is part of being found.

PIPEDA, CASL and Quebec's Law 25, built in from the start.
PIPEDA covers the personal information your site collects: ask for consent, explain what you do with the data in plain language, and only collect what you need. If you email customers, CASL applies too, so sign-up forms have to record consent properly.
If you have customers in Quebec, Law 25 adds stricter rules on consent, cookies and privacy notices, and French-language requirements apply to commercial content aimed at Quebec. We'll flag what applies to you and build the site to handle it.
Sites are built to WCAG 2.2 AA, supporting Ontario's AODA standard. English and French builds are available, and quotes are in Canadian dollars, with shipping, GST and HST, and duties shown clearly for ecommerce.

05 — FAQ
Yes. US sites often rank in Canadian searches, so we strengthen the local signals that show Google your business is the right answer for Canadian buyers.

We build them to. Consent is recorded before tracking or email sign-up, privacy notices are written in plain language, and forms only ask for what you need. Your legal adviser should still review your privacy policy.
Not everywhere. Federal privacy and anti-spam laws don't require a French website, but if you sell to customers in Quebec, the Charter of the French Language requires commercial content aimed at them, including your website, to be available in French. We plan bilingual sites so the French pages are as complete as the English ones.
It applies if you collect personal information from people in Quebec. If you do, we'll set up consent, cookies and your privacy notice to meet it, and flag where French-language rules apply.
