Retail & ecommerce

Digital marketing for retail and ecommerce brands that sell direct.

We plan and run the full marketing system for independent shops and growing retailers in the UK and Canada that would rather sell direct than hand a cut to the marketplaces: the store, the traffic and the reasons to come back.

Your customers can buy it elsewhere. Your store has to give them a reason not to.

Your customers can usually buy the same thing elsewhere, often on a marketplace with next-day delivery and a returns process they already trust. You win on range, expertise and service, so the store, the ads and the emails have to show all three quickly: what you stock, why you're worth buying from, and exactly when it'll arrive. In Great Britain, online sales make up 27.5% of all retail sales; in Canada, retail e-commerce made up 6.8% of total retail trade in May 2026. We plan for the market you sell in, with the currency, delivery promise and returns each one expects.

The store does most of its selling through search and navigation, not the homepage. Shoppers who use site search are often the most ready to buy, so it has to understand typos, synonyms and sizes. Collection pages that filter properly and product pages that answer the obvious questions do more than any redesign of the hero, and they are also the pages search engines and shopping ads send people to.

Margins are tight, so every sale you bring back yourself matters. Abandoned basket emails, back-in-stock alerts and a reason to come back next month cost little to set up and keep paying.

05 — FAQ

A fast store with working search and filters, shopping and search ads tuned to margin, category pages that rank, social for discovery, and email for abandoned baskets and repeat orders.

Both can work. Marketplaces bring reach but take a cut and own the customer. Your own store keeps the margin and the relationship, so we'd use marketplaces to find new customers and your own store to keep them.

Yes. We move products, customers and orders, map every old URL to its new home so search value carries over, and test checkout before the switch.

Usually. Better synonyms, typo handling and filters, plus tidying product data, fix most search problems. We look at what shoppers type and which searches find nothing.

Yes. A connected till or inventory system keeps stock in step across the shop and the store.

We track revenue by channel, conversion rate, average order value and repeat orders in GA4, and report the same numbers every month, in plain English.

Let's give shoppers a reason to buy from you directly.
